About the units

St Helier ICU: 13 beds, providing full level 3 and 2 care.

Epsom HDU: 6-8 level 2 beds.

Annual admissions: 1400 patients, including 700 emergency medical patients, 350 emergency surgical patients, and 350 patients following complex elective surgery.

Job summary

This is a full-time clinical post based at The Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital, to provide elective and emergency care for ophthalmology patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.

There is no out of hours on-call commitment.

The post offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in the management with patients with acute ophthalmology problems, cornea and cataract pathology.
