Job summary
West London NHS Trust is looking for a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to oversee an innovative community Clinical Health Psychology service based in Ealing.
This is a fixed-term post to cover 9-month leave period for the current postholder.
This service is based within the community and provides psychological support for adults referred to Ealing Community Partner (ECP) services who have a range of health conditions. The team consists of psychologists, an art therapist and peer support worker and is embedded within a number of multidisciplinary teams.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who will take over leadership of clinical health psychology services to patients who have a range of health psychology needs with a focus on diabetes, chronic pain, MSK and pulmonary rehabilitation. The role will include responsibility for leading a team of psychologists and contributing to the clinical governance and ongoing development and delivery of the clinical health psychology services within ECP.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of this exciting role are to oversee a group of highly skilled and enthusiastic staff, who are embedded within different teams within Ealing Community Partners. This includes clinical, professional and operational oversight of the team as well as working in strong partnerships with physical health services and neuropsychology and neuro-rehabiliation services.
The role will include responsibility contributing to the clinical governance and ongoing development and delivery of the clinical health psychology services within ECP. There will also be an opportunity to provide a small amount of direct clinical work, within areas relevant to the successful candidate's prior experience and interest.
The postholder has the opportunity to work remotely (e.g. from home) if interested, but there will be a requirement to work from sites in Ealing when needed.

Job summary
We are excited to offer an innovative opportunity to enhance primary care delivery to care homes in the borough of Ealing. As a Care Home GP, you will value having dedicated time in your allocated care homes to build relationships with residents and staff and provide consistent, high-quality care. This is far more enjoyable than the pressures of ad-hoc care home visits which you may have experienced in other roles! Trust us on this, we have experienced that too.
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will receive robust support from fellow GPs and an experienced group of nurses, including advanced nurse practitioners, prescribing pharmacists, and administrators.
Who we are looking for:
A qualified GMC registered GP.
A diligent and reliable team member.
A commitment to patient-centred care.
An interest in frailty or medicine of the elderly (although this can be developed during the post)
Preferred working days - Mondays & Fridays.
Main duties of the job
Face to face routine weekly consultations for patients identified as needing a clinical review in the care homes.
Telephone consultations both for acute triage and planned care.
Checking and signing repeat prescriptions electronically
Prescribe generically whenever appropriately and in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary, NICE guidance and Good Prescribing Practice.
Dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence as required including clinical administration and private report writing when agreed.
Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
Clinical management of the patients in a care home setting as appropriate including initiating investigations, reviewing results, making referrals to secondary care or to other providers as appropriate
Develop care and treatment plans in consultation with patients, care homes and relatives in line with current clinical guidelines and protocols including end of life care and utilising the UCP platform.
Participate in clinical audits, and learning event analyses and practice meetings
Work with and provide support for other members of the primary health care team
Play a lead role in the practice achieving agreed performance indicator targets (QOF, DES, Enhanced Services)

Ealing Paediatric OT are looking for motivated, flexible and innovative therapists to work with children and young people in Ealing. We are a friendly, dynamic and diverse team who are passionate about supporting children, young people and families in Ealing. We work with a diverse population group across health, education and social care. At the moment we are based at Armstrong Way. We are part of a high level integrated and collaborated partnership between health, education and social care services.
The service is open to all children and young people aged 0-18 with a range of needs. We work along with our therapy colleagues and other agency partners to deliver a service which supports and promotes the health and development of children and young people who are experiencing barriers to participation everyday occupations. These children and young may experience barriers due to physical disability, social communication challenges or other specific developmental differences. Pathways within the service ensure that Multidisciplinary working is integral in the role and provides a whole systems approach for these families, supporting them to tell their story just once
Main duties of the job
Within your clinical role you will demonstrate confidence and competence in delivering assessment and therapy in mainstream school, special schools and clinic settings and the ability to provide comprehensive written clinical reasoning in all documentation.
To demonstrate working autonomously with an understanding of safe lone working is essential as you will be working across various settings, from schools, homes, nurseries and clinics, often on your own.
You will have a strong enthusiasm for working with children and young people and comprehensive knowledge of statutory assessment for Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and SEND guidance and how this applies to clinical work.
You will be able to develop your leadership skills with the responsibility of day-to-day operational management of junior staff and monitoring the quality of care given. The post holder will be expected to pro-actively contribute to areas of service development.

Job summary
Our Community CAMHS (CCAMHS) Team has an exciting opportunity for a Systemic Family Practice (SFP) Recruit-To-Train Practitioner, as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT).
Recruit to Train is a government-funded initiative aiming to grow the child mental health workforce to meet much needed demand. To help reach this goal, NHSE covers salary and training costs for a 1-year post, allowing services to employ trainees to aid in implementing new or expanding existing specialist pathways to bridge the gaps in CYP mental health support.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your learning from weekly teaching into practical clinical interventions working with clients in the service making a direct impact in the lives of children, young people and their families.
Please note: The position will be based at 48 Glenthorne Road, London, W6 0LS, but successful candidates will be expected to travel to Denmark Hill Campus of King's College London for teaching during the training year.

Main duties of the job
We are recruiting an SFP Practitioner to work within our Hammersmith and Fulham Community CAMHS (CCAMHS) Team. This is a training role within the Child and Young Persons Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (CYP-IAPT) Programme. We offer high quality supervision, with excellent CPD and career development opportunities.
This is a one-year fixed-term post (1.0 WTE), with this training year funded by NHSE. After successful completion of the course the fixed term training contract will end however applicants would be encouraged to apply for any vacant posts within the service and will be provided support and advice in job applications.
This role will be best suited for applicants that are able to balance a very busy work and study schedule. You will be an employee at the service but also enrolled on a Postgraduate Diploma course. As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study and perform at academic level. Applicants must be prepared to work towards their studies outside of protected study time (such as on weekends and after work). Protected study time or teaching days are typically two days a week during term (with possibility of extra university days near start) and will be a mixture of in person and online sessions. Applicants must be willing to travel into London to attend their lectures.

Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialist Clinical Psychologist keen to develop a career in neuropsychology, to provide 12 months' parental leave cover.
This post offers an excellent foundation for developing specialist neuropsychology skills within the friendly and supportive Clinical Health Psychology and Neuropsychology Department at Charing Cross Hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and including the Northwest London Regional Neurosciences Centre.
The role includes specialist neuropsychological assessment and intervention within our outpatient service, which receives referrals from a wide range of neurology and neurosurgery clinics including cognitive disorders and dementia, traumatic brain injury, movement disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neuro-oncology, infectious diseases and general neurology. There are also opportunities to contribute to exciting service development initiatives. Weekly supervision is provided by a senior Clinical Neuropsychologist.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and formulation for patients presenting with a wide range of neurological disorders referred from specialist neurology and neurosurgery clinics. The role requires experience of neuropsychological assessment, a high level of attention to detail and an ability to assimilate information from a range of sources to arrive at a neuropsychological formulation of a patient's current difficulties and presentation.
The post holder will also contribute to the delivery of a specialist intervention pathway providing psychological interventions for patients presenting with mental health difficulties associated with Parkinson's disease, as well as supporting the development of new evidence-based intervention pathways for other groups of neurological patients.
In addition to direct clinical assessment and intervention, the post provides opportunities for involvement in service development, staff consultation and training, and research and audit.

Job summary
We are seeking a passionate Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join the inpatient team at West London Forensic Service (WLFS). The post is 1.0 WTE for 1-year fixed term and will be based on a male low secure complex rehabilitation ward. It can be appointed at Band 7 or Band 8a depending on experience and with responsibilities adjusted accordingly. For Band 7, this will be a preceptorship towards an 8a role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of a highly developed and comprehensive specialist psychology service to culturally diverse service-users with enduring mental health difficulties and offending histories.
We provide a comprehensive induction and ongoing training and development, with opportunities to develop specialist skills and receive specialist supervision (e.g. EMDR and schema therapy), in addition to regular supervision. There are excellent staff benefits including a generous annual leave allowance and an on site gym (with membership at just £10 per month).
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing a high quality psychology service on a low secure complex rehabilitation ward. As a core member of the MDT, you will be responsible for developing and implementing psychologically informed treatments for male service users who present with enduring mental disorders (both mental illness and personality disorder) and an offending history. As such you will be able to utilise varied skills in assessment, formulation and evidence-based intervention, tailored to individual needs.
As well as individual ward-based work, you will contribute to the cross-ward group therapy programme. You will also advise on risk assessment and risk management, and support psychological practice within the team through consultation and training.
In addition to direct clinical work, the role may involve staff supervision, service development and audit, and collaborative working within the psychological therapies department. There are also opportunities for research within WLFS.

Main duties of the job
To provide high quality, skilled nursing care and to assist the Community Nursing Team Manager in the on-going planning, implementation, and evaluation of the holistic needs of the patient/client, family, and/or carer.
Deliver high quality nursing care to housebound patients with complex needs to enable them to remain in their own homes. Working closely with out of hours service providers, specialist nurses, allied health and social care professionals to meet the needs of the patients without unnecessary attendance in A&E or be admitted to hospital.
This will involve working independently but as part of the Community Nursing Team covering a particular geographical area. This will include first assessments and reviews, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of individual programmes of care. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Senior Clinician within the newly developed Mental Health Crisis and Assessment Service (MHCAS) at Lakeside Mental Health Unit. Main duties of the job
The Band 7 MHCAS Senior Clinician will provide senior clinical leadership within the Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service (MHCAS), maintaining a visible frontline presence and supporting the Team Manager in the delivery of a safe, responsive, and high-quality 24-hour crisis service. The post holder will lead on complex assessments, risk management, crisis intervention, patient flow, and clinical decision-making, ensuring evidence-based, recovery-focused, and least restrictive care. They will coordinate multidisciplinary working, provide expert advice to colleagues, and support staff through supervision, appraisal, coaching, and professional development. Working proactively with service users, carers, and partner agencies, the post holder will promote engagement, holistic assessment, and early intervention, meeting people at the point of crisis and supporting plans to reduce future episodes of crisis.
