An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our medical team.
The successful candidate will join our pre-existing medical physiotherapy team who currently look after a wide caseload of in-patients including NIV, medical rehabilitation and cardiac patients.
The post holder will be responsible for the specialist management of our CCU and cardiac ward, as well as assisting with the daily caseload management across the medicine team.
You should have:o Excellent communication and team working skillso Completed core junior rotations including ITU, medicine / elderly care, neurology and orthopaedicso HCPC and CSP registration
We actively encourage continuing professional development through clinical supervision and a comprehensive in-service training programme.
You will be well supported by an experienced team of physiotherapists including consultant respiratory physiotherapists and a cardiac rehabilitation team. You will have the opportunity to develop your senior skills with supervision of juniors and students and involvement in audit and service development.
Main duties of the job
The physiotherapy department is committed to providing excellent patient care across seven days. You will also contribute to the emergency respiratory on-call rota.
To provide physiotherapy to relevant patients within clinical specialty area, in a range of settings including inpatients, outpatients and patient homes.

Job summary

Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals merged to form a single NHS Trust in 1998. Trauma is primarily carried out on the St. Peter's site. The Ashford site has outpatients and a dedicated orthopaedic ward which is used for joint replacements and other elective surgery.The postholder will participate in the on-call trauma rota.
The Trust was formed by the merger of the two hospitals in 1998. The Ashford/St. Peter's Trust is the largest non-teaching Trust in the region and provides a full range of acute hospitals services. All surgical and trauma emergencies are admitted into St. Peter's Accident and Emergency Department. There is a 9 bedded ITU service on the St. Peter's site.
Main duties of the job
The main duties and responsibilities of the appointee will be:
- To provide Senior Middle Grade cover for all orthopaedics duties as detailed below including participating in the on-call rota.
- To work with the existing orthopaedic surgeons across both Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals to provide an efficient and effective orthopaedic service.
- To provide inpatients, day case and outpatients care for the patients requiring elective and emergency orthopaedic surgery, in accordance with the Trust contractual obligations.
- To adopt a continuing responsibility for the care of patients in your care and in partnership with other colleagues working in the speciality for the proper function of the department.
- The Clinical Fellow would undertake to ensure that clinical audit was an ongoing programme and that agreed actions required as indicated from audit were implemented.

- Ordering of diagnostic tests.
- Making and receiving referrals.

Job summary
We are looking to appoint an experience Locum Consultant in Geriatrics to join our Frailty team for a fixed period of 6 months (until April 2027).
We are proud to have an excellent acute frailty service and we have an enthusiastic and dynamic team of Consultants and Associate Specialists working closely together to deliver our overarching Frailty Strategy, aiming to improve the care of all patients living with frailty in Guildford and Waverley.
We are continuing to work to provide seamless care for our patients. For those with emerging or stable frailty we aim to provide standardised proactive Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) and for those with frailty crisis, an effective alternative to admission including Urgent Crisis Response (UCR), Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (FSDEC) and Hospital at Home (H@H) / virtual wards.
We have established the Guildford and Waverley Frailty Academy which has embedded education and training across the local system and within the acute Trust. We have developed internal trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Portfolio route training programmes (formerly CESR route) to support workforce development.
We are looking to innovate with local partners in delivery of a local strategy to develop our workforce and make it fit to meet the needs of our ageing population.
Main duties of the job
We would welcome applicants with experience in posts relevant to Geriatric medicine with a wide range of experience in Geriatric medicine specialty areas including community work (Hospital at Home, community wards, proactive care MDTs / clinics), acute frailty, rehabilitation, orthogeriatrics and stroke.

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to invite applications for an Integrated Respiratory Clinical Fellow (ST6-8) to join our well-established Respiratory Medicine and Integrated Respiratory Service (IRS) teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to take up a NHSE KSS-funded fellowship offering three days per week (0.6 WTE) dedicated to fellowship activity, with the option to undertake a further two days per week in clinical Respiratory Medicine, combining service delivery with education and specialist development.
Applicants must evidence:
- Full GMC registration
- Experience in Respiratory Medicine with successful ARCP at ST6 level or above (or equivalent)
- A commitment to high-quality patient-centred care and multidisciplinary working
This post would suit a clinician seeking to develop expertise in integrated and community respiratory services, while gaining valuable fellowship and leadership experience.
Main duties of the job
The post is ideally suited to a senior respiratory trainee or equivalent with a strong interest in community respiratory care and airways disease. The successful candidate will work across inpatient and community settings, contributing to a highly regarded Integrated Respiratory Service that delivers seamless care for patients with COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis and ILD.
You will:o Work closely with the Integrated Respiratory Service and the wider Respiratory Medicine teamo Participate in community MDT clinics and virtual MDT meetingso Support asthma and COPD services, including regional MDTs for biologics and emphysema interventionso Attend consultant-led outpatient clinics (approximately 1-2 clinics per week)o Undertake a fellowship project aligned to community respiratory or airways priorities, supported by named consultants and regular supervisionThe post includes protected time for service improvement, audit, research or education projects, alongside opportunities to develop leadership, teaching and quality improvement skills.
