Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Systemic Family Practitioner (SFP) trainee to join one of our well-established CAMHS teams. Your week will consist of attending the one-year training course and clinical work in the team delivering services to children, young people and their families. You will be well supported by an experienced supervisor and a team of skilled clinicians.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, skilled Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work in our Maternal Mental Health Service, Maple. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
The Maple Service is for women and birthing people whose trauma symptoms have a moderate to severe impact on their mental health. This may be due to a traumatic birth experience, pregnancy loss, neonatal death or the loss of a baby as a result of social care procedures due to safeguarding concerns. The trauma may also exist prior to conception, e.g. when tokophobia prevents a woman from achieving a wanted pregnancy.
Staff normally run clinics at team bases, maternity sites as well as occasionally conducting home visits. Some clinical work is additionally carried out via video call. Therefore, the successful post-holder must be willing to travel and work flexibly.
Specialist supervision will be provided for the successful applicant by a band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist in the Team. There is a large psychology team working across the whole service who meet regularly, provide peer support, and develop/review the psychological service.
We are looking to recruit to a 1.0 WTE based in the East sub team based at N9 7HD.
Please note that the successful applicant is likely to be required to travel to other sites at times including St Pancras Hospital (Camden) and Cedar Place (North Finchley).
Main duties of the job
Services offered by the post holder will include providing psychological assessments, and interventions to service users in line with the evidence base and NICE guidelines. They will also offer advice and consultation based on psychological formulation to referrers, staff of the Maple Service and other professional and non-professional groups.
The post holder will actively contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of perinatal mental health clinical services using leadership skills and knowledge to provide training and consultancy within the specialty area of loss and trauma in the perinatal period. There will also be opportunities to be involved in service audit and research relevant to psychological work within perinatal mental health. They are expected to hold a complex caseload.

Main duties of the job
The role of Specialist Clinician and Supervisor includes consultation, assessment, therapy/intervention, supervision as well as service development, evaluation and training. This will be a community-based post, with most of the work taking place in school settings or other community settings. The post holder must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the team, staff from other teams as well as with our allied partners across education, health, social care and the charity sector.

The role is to provide social work expertise to the multidisciplinary assessment of families and parents referred to the service. Rapid initial and then ongoing assessment of parents, their willingness and capacity to engage in therapeutic work, alongside assessment of parenting capacity - the safety of the children being paramount. The post holder will contribute to the multidisciplinary formulation of an intervention plan and work with team members to mobilise and co-ordinate existing local authority, NHS and independent sector resources to meet the needs of the care plan and provide where appropriate evidence based nursing interventions in community based settings. The social worker role will take a lead on issues of safeguarding children and risk assessment of parenting capacity.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will take a lead on providing professional advice and development in relation to substance misuse within the FDAC team, develop clear pathways of care and support for families referred to the service in order to promote and improve the well-being of parents, children and young people. The post holder will be required to present reports in an authoritative manner in Court on a very regular basis, and other Multidisciplinary and Multi-agency settings work with autonomy but equally closely with FDAC colleagues. The post holder will be expected to contribute to and take part in of the evaluation of the service.

THE FAMILY DRUG AND ALCOHOL COURT TEAM
A Family Drug and Alcohol Court is an innovative approach to the problem of parental substance misuse (drugs or alcohol) which is having a negative impact on parenting capacity.
The FDAC is based on a model now being widely used across the USA, which is an exciting way of trying to break the destructive cycle of substance misuse through generations. The London FDAC has been running since 2008 and now serves 14 Local Authorities across 4 Family Courts. Independent research suggest that this model is successful in getting parents to engage with and stay in substance misuse services leading to more children being able to return home. Where parents do not engage and children cannot return home, quicker decisions are made about permanent placements for them.
The model is of a specialist court operating within the framework of care proceedings. The specialist FDAC team (which includes substance misuse practitioners, children and family social workers and child and adult mental health expertise) will be attached to the 4 courts we serve in Central, South, West and East London. It will advise the court and link the parents into relevant local services. The emphasis is on working with the parent and child, not just assessing them.

Job summary
The Whole Family Service is a highly specialist CAMHS which works with families who might have a complex relationship with help. The service uses creative and flexible approaches to engage families whose multiple difficulties mean they might not be able to access a traditional clinic-based service. The service is co-located across local authority services to enable effective partnership working and facilitate coordination amongst professional networks.
The service is comprised of two teams, the Whole Family Team with Perinatal Specialist (WFT-P) and the Whole Family Team (WFT). The WFT-P is a highly specialist service offering psychological therapy to families during pregnancy and with babies, toddlers and children up to the age of 5 years. The WFT is based with Camden local authority social care teams such as safeguarding and family help (previously children's services), alternative education provision (e.g. SEMH school, PRUs), youth justice, early help and the adolescent prototype team. The teams offer both direct assessments, interventions and consultation to other professionals and comprise of Psychology, Systemic Family Therapy, Child Psychotherapy and Psychiatry, Mental Health Nurses, and Senior Practitioners.
Main duties of the job
The post holder would be expected to spend their time in the WFT supporting the team clinical delivery of a high standard by attending team referral meetings, providing supervision, and attending weekly clinical team and business meetings.
The post holder will be based between 5 Pancras Square, the local authority head office, and an allocated specialist Camden service as a link worker to the Primary PRU.
The post holder will hold a complex caseload within the Primary PRU and multi-disciplinary team, undertaking a range of clinical assessments and offering highly skilled treatments or therapies that are outcome focused and evidence based, using appropriate therapeutic modalities.

Our service has an exciting opportunity for a Recruit to Train Trainee CAMHS Practitioner CYP-PT: Therapy Trainee - Systemic Family Practice - Conduct Disorder and Depression to join our team as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT).
Recruit to Train is a government-funded initiative aiming to grow the child mental health workforce to meet much needed demand. Job summary
The Clinical Intake Team services as an internal Single Point of Access, with the aim of supporting seamless referral pathways, ensuring that CYP and families are directed to the right type of support at the right time. To provide advice and support to Central Islington GPs, and other practice staff, regarding the assessment and management of the mental health difficulties of patients registered with their practices. This may be done through case discussions, joint consultations and bespoke training, as appropriate.
To provide consultant input and clinical leadership to the Central Islington Core Team.
To assist with diagnosis, formulation, medication reviews, Dialog+ care planning, management plans, risk assessments, safety plans (Formerly crisis plans), and self-help plans as required for these patients referred to the team.

Job summary
The Camden CAMHS Wellbeing Team are looking to recruit 4 trainee CWPs to continue to improve children and young people's mental health services in Camden. This training forms part of the service transformation initiative delivered by NHS England as part of the Children and Young People's Psychological Trainings (CYP-PT) programme.
Camden CAMHS Wellbeing Team, work with children and families aged 4-18. We provide group and individual CBT and parent training interventions to parents and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, low mood, and behavioural difficulties. The Team also has an active role in community engagement, offering trainings and service user involvement projects. The team includes 3 CWPs, 4 Trainee CWPs, CBT therapists, supervisors and a Team Clinical Lead.
Although this is a fixed term contract there may be opportunities for employment as a band 5 CWP once the course is completed. The team values a supportive working environment, continued professional development and career advancement.
Our team work closely with community multidisciplinary teams and clinical intake team.
Main duties of the job
This is a training position post holder will undertake training at Kings College London alongside working in service for The Camden CAMHS Wellbeing Team. They will be taught to deliver evidence based guided self-help interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The post holder will use their newly developed skills to support children and young people who are referred into the service and trainees will receive supervision to support their professional development.
Applicants will need to be ready to start work in early/mid-January 2027 and posts cannot be offered to candidates unless they can guarantee this start date.

The Trust is seeking to recruit two Implementation Consultants to support the enhanced use of its existing Allocate Optima systems and associated operational procedures.
