This vacancy is a 12 Month Fixed Term Post - Maternity Cover
An exciting opportunity has a risen for a 0.6WTE 12 month fixed term (maternity cover) band 5 Dietitian to work within our outpatient and inpatient dietetic team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and proactive HCPC registered Dietitian, with excellent clinical, communication and team working skills. This could be a great opportunity to start your dietetic career or to develop your current skills by working within a team of specialist dietitians in an outpatient and acute setting.
Main duties of the job
The post will provide cover to general clinics, weight management clinics, gestational diabetes groups and gastroenterology clinics. It will also include some work on the wards including Acute Medical Unit, gastroenterology, respiratory, endocrine, haematology, surgery and care of the elderly.
Some cross site working may be required across the three hospital sites covered by the Trust, transport is available.
We are a fully integrated team that includes, dietitians, nutrition nurses and assistants. Professional development is encouraged and supported through appraisal and regular supervision. You will be allocated time for CPD and shadowing experienced specialist dietitians.
All dietitians are actively involved in student training and take students from University of Nottingham and Sheffield Hallam University.

Main duties of the job
An excellent opportunity for a Senior Sister/Ward Manager who is committed to high quality care for children, young people and their families and providing excellent educational experience for student nurses.
You will demonstrate professional attributes, including diversity, dealing with change and the ability to learn new skills in the assessment and care of all paediatric patients and their families.
Working as part of a team of Medical Staff, Staff Nurses, Trainee Nursing Associate/Nursing Associates, Clinical Educators, Play and Activity Leaders, Healthcare Assistants, and Housekeepers, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of evidenced based patient care. You will also be responsible for supporting and developing staff and providing an excellent learning environment for student nurses.
The Division is progressive and innovative, continually striving to improve services for children, young people and their families. The Division operates a rotational policy, when necessary, across both sites in order to meet service and development needs.
It is essential that you are registered paediatric nurse and have post registration experience 12 months of which must be at Band 6 level. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the high performing MDT at the Fred and Ann Green Rehabilitation Centre based at Montagu Hospital, part of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust .
The Fred and Ann Green Rehabilitation centre is a purpose built unit on the journey to achieving centre of excellence status. Facilities within the centre include 2 inpatient wards in addition to a dedicated outpatient department, assessment rooms and a state of the art rehabilitation gym.
This post offers a great opportunity for the successful applicant to extend their skills and knowledge within the the exciting field of inpatient rehabilitation.
We have a 12 month fixed term post available based within the Fred and Ann Green Rehabilitation Centre.
The physiotherapy service across Doncaster and Bassetlaw undertakes a number of out of hours services, including on-call. The post holder will be assessed for suitability to support one of these services.

Main duties of the job
As a physiotherapist working within the rehabilitation service at DBTH, you will be a valued member of the team, providing high quality care to patients, in a professional and compassionate manner. You will be able to contribute ideas and support clinical initiatives in order to provide evidence based patient care.
The department is committed to a CPD programme including monthly one to one supervision with an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist.
Applicants must have a qualification in Physiotherapy and hold current registration with the HCPC (this can be pending). Experience of working within an inpatient rehabilitation service is desirable. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential and a positive approach to problem solving.

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the South Yorkshire Service for Deaf People with Mental Health Needs working with BSL users in contact with mental health teams across South Yorkshire.
This part-time post will work alongside secondary mental health teams, Primary Care mental health teams, crisis/home treatment teams and inpatient services to provide specialist assessment and interventions for deaf people who use BSL.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work in conjunction with secondary and primary care mental health teams (including crisis, Home Treatment teams and inpatient wards) across South Yorkshire (Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield) and work into RDaSH, Sheffield Partnership and SWYT NHS Trusts. They will provide specialist mental health assessments which incorporate deaf culture and communication, and provide specialist interventions that meet the deaf person's needs.
They will also have some responsibility for delivering, developing and supporting the equality and inclusion agenda as part of the Deaf mental health service. They will have a good understanding of deaf culture in relation to mental health and/or BSL skills and/or have worked with deaf service users previously in conjunction with the Clinical Nurse Specialist in Mental Health and Deaf People.
The post holder will provide supervision to the Deaf Peer Project Support Worker.

Job summary
We have an excellent opportunity for an innovative and motivated physiotherapist to join our established Critical Care and Surgery Physiotherapy team at Doncaster Royal Infirmary on a 12-month, fixed-term basis.
As a specialist Physiotherapist you will be responsible for managing your own caseload and delivering high quality care to complex patient groups while supporting the development of other members of the team including the wider MDT.
This team provides the physiotherapy input for critical care and surgery and you must be able to demonstrate high levels of communication and time management.
You will be involved in audit, staff supervision and development and will support the Team Lead in operational management and service improvement.

Main duties of the job
The Critical Care and Surgery team supports the patient pathway providing specialist knowledge and services to critically ill patient and those pre and post surgery as required. This includes reviewing unwell patients on the wards to help decision making regarding escalation to DCC, throughout their stay on Critical Care and then liaising with ward staff upon being stepped down.
A flexible and pro-active approach is essential for this post as are excellent team working skills. You should have post-graduate experience in a variety of clinical specialties and be able to motivate patients throughout their journey.
Key responsibilities will include the education and development of staff and students, audit, research and clinical effectiveness as well as service review and evaluation.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate not only patients but staff. You must be organised, flexible and able to empower others.

We are pleased to offer the opportunity for a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Otology and Paediatric ENT to join our friendly and supportive team of ENT Surgeons in Rotherham. This is a fixed term post for 12 months to cover a colleague on secondment. The department currently consists of 5 Consultants, 1 Associate Specialist, 2 Specialty doctors, 1 Specialty Registrar and 6 Foundation/Core trainees working jointly with Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals. Day-case surgery and outpatient clinics are provided at Rotherham Hospital with inpatient care provided at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Main duties of the job
Virtually all aspects of ENT are carried out by the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust Consultants, except those requiring regional involvement for example skull base surgery and specialised paediatrics. Day surgery and outpatient clinics are held at the Rotherham NHS foundation trust site, whilst inpatient surgery and emergencies, including on-call work, are carried out at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. The out of hours on-call commitment is currently 1:13 with prospective cover.
The post holder will contribute to the provision and development of the general ENT and otology service, including paediatric ENT, at Rotherham. They will work as part of a team of 5 Consultants and will be expected to contribute to the training of the Specialty Registrars who rotate through the Yorkshire and Humberside Training Rotation, as well as providing supervision and support to our middle grade and junior medical staff. There are opportunities to be involved in medical audit and research as well as the teaching of medical undergraduates. This really is an exciting time to join the Psychosis team, we have recently reviewed the community directorate and have undergone a community remodel. The Psychosis Team includes 4 pathways: Assertive Outreach, Psychosis, Early Intervention in Psychosis, and At Risk Mental State. This role will primarily be within the psychosis pathway. We are seeking individuals who are highly motivated, who ideally have experience of working with individuals with a range of mental health problems, particularly with psychosis.

The Trust has a well-established appraisal and supervision structure and actively encourages continual professional development.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (some flexibility required) and excluding bank holidays. Due to the large geographical area of North Lincs, it is essential that applicants are able to efficiently and effectively move around the area to deliver the interventions in a timely manner
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team as a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse. The right candidate will be enthusiastic and a highly organised mental health professional who is able to provide high quality nursing care, assessment and treatment.
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive Community Mental Health Nursing Service across a whole range of clients experiencing mental ill health within the psychosis pathway. The service will be delivered in collaboration with representatives from other agencies and therefore the ability to work independently and with partner agencies is essential.
It is essential that applicants can demonstrate post registration experience as an RMN, which may include inpatient and community settings.
