Job summary

This post being offered is until October 2027 on the SHO rota tier. This is working 1:12 oncall rota alongside FY2, GPST1/2 and O+G ST1/2 doctors. Previous obstetrics and gynaecology experience is desirable but not essential. This role would be good for someone wanting to build on their previous O+G training. The oncall is working with a more senior ST3+/ST5+ doctor and a consultant.

Main duties of the job

Main rostered duties include daytime and night oncalls (including weekends) for obstetrics and gynaecology, maternity assessment, postnatal ward and caesarean section lists, antenatal and gynaecology clinics and gynaecology theatres.
