Join Our EPR Programme and Help Shape the Future of Patient Care

Join our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme as an EPR Trainer and help deliver one of the Trusts largest digital transformation programmes, supporting around 10,000 staff to adopt the new system.

We welcome enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive applicants with clinical, operational or administrative healthcare experience, an understanding of NHS workflows and the confidence to support colleagues through change.

Following Train-the-Trainer programmes, you will create learning materials, deliver training and provide at-the-elbow support during implementation and go-live. You should learn systems quickly, work independently and engage confidently with staff at all levels.

We particularly welcome applicants with experience in:

    • Emergency care and patient flow
    • Patient access, admissions and outpatients
    • Clinical administration and documentation
    • Inpatient and diagnostic services
    • EMPA

We welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time hours.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of applications. We therefore encourage interested candidates to apply as soon as possible.

    Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the implementation and adoption of the Trusts Electronic Patient Record (EPR), developing and delivering role-based training to prepare staff for new ways of working and ensure safe, effective system use.

As part of the EPR Training Team, you will create learning materials, deliver adaptable training, support workflow adoption and provide go-live support across Trust locations. The role requires the ability to learn systems quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    What you'll do:

    • Deliver role-based EPR training to clinical and non-clinical staff in classroom, workplace and virtual settings
    • Create clear training guides, presentations and learning resources
    • Work with clinical and operational teams to understand workflows and training needs
    • Support staff, Digital Champions and Super Users through change
    • Provide floorwalking and at-the-elbow support during go-live

Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for further details.
